Leon Sinden Award Winners Announced!
The winners of Pitlochry Festival Theatre’s 15th annual Leon Sinden Awards were announced on Saturday 17th October.

PFT audiences throughout the summer season have been casting their votes for Best Actor and Actress in a Supporting Role, and the annual awards were presented onstage after the final performance of Whisky Galore-A Musical! at the Theatre on Saturday night.

This year’s winner of Best Supporting Actress was Isabelle Joss for her portrayal of ‘Marjorie’ in Good Things. Alan Steele picked up the award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance as ‘Frazer’, also in Good Things.

Veteran actor Leon Sinden returned to PFT on Saturday evening to present the awards.

History

From 1951 to the 21st Century...

Discover our history "When staying in Pitlochry during the early part of the war, I chanced to see a stately house with a fairly large garden, quite close to the town. I at once realised that here my dream theatre might well be established in this fashionable resort right in the heart of Scotland"… John Stewart, Founder of Pitlochry Festival Theatre.
