JAMES MURDOCH writes “This past year has been a busy one. In April 2009 my paintings of the Stations of the Cross were consecrated in St Mungo's Episcopal Church in Alexandria. October and the Church os Scotland in Yoker (Glasgow) was the site of a shared exhibition I arranged. This event was enhanced by having Liz Cameron, past Lord Provost of Glasgow opening it. Teaching has played a major part this winter. Firstly I had to split my local group as it became to large. Then I was invited to a group in Brookfield near Paisley where I have regular workshops with 10 participants. Painting Demonstrations in Stirling & Muirend, Glasgow have proved to be interesting experiences. September 2010 will se me taking part once more in "Mailmania" in Vancouver (unfortunately I send my work there)”.

"When staying in Pitlochry during the early part of the war, I chanced to see a stately house with a fairly large garden, quite close to the town. I at once realised that here my dream theatre might well be established in this fashionable resort right in the heart of Scotland"… John Stewart, Founder of Pitlochry Festival Theatre.
