FREIDA STRUTHERS  is a lifelong painter who studied art in her early years and won many prizes. Her main focus has always been figurative and has encompassed portraiture, caricature and children's book illustration. She has exhibited successfully at various galleries and venues throughout Scotland, and her paintings have found homes as far afield as America and Australia. Having specialised for many years in depicting groups of realistic women in intriguing settings, Freida has widened her repertoire to include stylised figures. Her whimsical "Ladies" series is proving very popular with buyers.
